I'd sure give you a hand if I was back there. You're gonna be a busy man as are the rest of the folks that got hit.
Good Luck!!

Headed to Carrabelle Florida from Iowa in the Morning. Have a house on stilts 80’ from the Gulf of Mexico and have seen zero coverage on the Carrabelle and Lanark Village area. Not sure of the condition of our property but some of the pictures from the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce looks promising. Anyone with any photos or info would be appreciated

We left Three Rivers State park on Monday and now at Silver springs state park just outside of Ocala.
My heart goes out to those who live in the panhandle area.

Also in Ocala - we just drove here from Covington, LA. Got gas in Moss Point, MS and couldn’t find a drop of gas again until we hit I-75.
I hope everyone who didn’t evacuate is safe. The devastation and destruction on either side of the 10 was shocking.
If anyone is traveling that route, get fuel early or prepare to sit in VERY long lines.

Just received pictures of our house in Carrabelle. Much worse than I amagined. The 2 car garage built in February is totally gone along with everything inside. Storm Surge appears to have been 6’ high under the house and travelled over 200’ and crossed Highway 98. Can see from the photos what is left of our hot tub that we purchased in January laying out next to the highway. Was in the garage when we left. Our 20’x30’ shop was leveled to the ground. Inside was my Garden tractor and my 12’ Cargo Trailer full of tools. Hopefully the tractor is under the collapsed shop but the receding storm surge floated the trailer into the yard and sunk it in the ground. Will find out what is salvageable inside the trailer when we arrive next Thursday. I thank my neighbors who took time to get me the photos and the Chamber of Commerce for posting my request.
Much work ahead and not sure we will be returning next year. Two hurricanes and one tornado in three year is too much.

Seems like it worked as designed. No damage to the house. Everything under it is expendable. Glad you are safe and hope your ins. company helps you replace your stuff.

Via satellite looks like the CGs in East Point and Carrabelle are still present although with Ho Hum it's hard to tell since it's a sand parking lot. Holiday CG at Ochlockonee Bay is there but the pier is gone. Can't tell up toward Crawfordville or Newport. Looks like the CGs at Spring Creek and St. Marks may have been wiped out although of course without buildings it's hard to tell. Old Pavilion at Keaton Beach is present and occupied by a couple of units.

Ho Hum is open. They lost a wall to their office. Electric, water, and sewer operational. Internet is out throughout the Carrabelle area and phone service not totally restored. We are staying there beginning Wednesday in order to repair storm damage done to our beachhouse a mile to the East. We currently have too much debris scattered throughout to get a 40’ Motorhome onto the property. Don’t want to get a nail or screw in our new Michelin’s.
