Now this is how to kill a thread. . . . . Mindless rambling.
Well iff'n we can find a shark tank nearby the location of this cannon shot motorcycle jumping place that would surely kill this thread.
Just have to plan the jump / shot to cross the tank at 90 to one another (hopefully at different altitudes) and that should just about do 'er. Happy Days; as after that this thread will be gone for sure

I tried to get shot out of the cannon on my motorcycle. But the motorcycle did not fit in the cannon.
All this talk about a symposium. Let's get to the meat of this and set a date. I think Durango R.V. park in Redding Ca is a good choice. WHAT SAY YOUSE GUYS. ?

Gian I saw your first post and held off with a reply till I had a top secret connection. In the mean time I had to follow a stork to make sure it brought my new grand child to the right place. It did and now I have a little time for the moment. If I'm not mistaken I think Possum and I will be tied up with top secret maneuvers from 8/13 - 8/26. A few days prior to or after that sound good to me.

What say thread killers?

Redding , Ca has been proposed anyone have any pro or cons?
Aug of 2017
2,3,4 days how long?

If you are serious about trying to make this first meeting speak up. If you have other suggestions speak up. I've never RVed in CA so I know nothing about the area and anywhere is new to us!

Let's do this Hoo Rah!

Huh. Always heard that California will one day fall into the Pacific.

I guess that should kill this thread if all on here are out there at that time ??

Way long time ago my ex was quite upset that our son and I had moved from Ontario to Vancouver Island because of the pending big one. My son set her straight by saying, we'll be OK mom, we're on the east side of the island and after the big one we'll have ocean front property on the Atlantic. I'm not sure she ever figured out what he meant but he and I have had a few chuckles over that one.

I thought that maybe for this crowd of 'Thread Killers' that we could all gather on a mountain top in Weed California. DW and I spent two days there last January snowed in.
I'd like to see it without all the snow.

2,3,4 days how long?*

Do you really think they would let a group of misfits stay more than a day?
They will be kicking us to the curb after one day, better have backup plan . .. my suggestion if kicked we all take over the local Walmart.

I would try to make it just retired last year was going to head that way anyway ,was planning a east coast trip but could alter.
Need to ride the bike on pacific coast hi way just in case it don't survive the jump.

You do know late August is the start of college football season, but I guess that is what sat dishes are for.

Got to be careful to not get complacent. Lynne (the Girl) is just sitting and waiting while the Killers are walking around patting each other on the back. Got to give her more respect! Just when you think you are golden she will ruin your day (and the killin').

Yeah but after we all meet at next years symposium she'll stand no chance of saving this thread from the likes of us ruthless killers!

Gordon did I read you and Lynn are doing a Goood Moooorning rally? I dropped of that thread cause I seldom posted in the mornings!

Only partly true. Lynne started it after it was bandied about on the Goooodmorning thread for a short while. Check out the thread. It may be advantageous to combine the Symposium and Meet and Greet and have a killer get together.

Location and dates have been determined for the Meet and Greet.

Some post in the mornings, some post in the evenings. All depends upon your view of the matter and when you have breakfast. I consider any time before breakfast to be morning. Note: I am retired and my watch battery died over 10 years ago, never to be replaced.
