You get my vote so sure it will as you will be arriving before the other vote. After the other vote we will close the borders for a while just to keep out those who want to become Canadians no matter who wins, just because they lost out on who they wanted to be POTUS.

Funny thing about a democracy; one side has to lose.

I hear the fence building is proceeding quite well and is under budget so they may build it a bit higher. This may prevent folks getting across by cannon.

I wonder if the Timster is involved with building this fence. On TOT he claims to be very very efficient at this type o0f work.

More often than not, fences are built to keep things in than to keep things out...
I lock the doors at my house every time I leave so my wifey can't escape.

Claims to be never happened! But yes I'm very efficient at turning a few days fencing job into months, and gather plenty of help along the way!

Speaking of fences or defenses,
Last evening I was retuning from the lake where we had celebrated the holiday. My son that's place connects to mine called and told me of a neighbor lady that had been attacked and the perpetrator had escaped into the 80 acres behind my house. Immediately I remembered all the buildings on my place we a person could hide. So as we drove up my son and his dogs came over and we walked all through each building. Didn't worry about the house as we had alarm set. Nothing out of ordinary but buildings now locked. For now.

Hello killers..... and pretend Killers.
Hard to believe I is already the 5th of July. .
Last night we were back to Home Sweet Home #2
And I am happy to say we saw a fantastic display of Fireworks.
I remember as a young boy growing up where we had fireworks. Did not wear a bycycle helmet. Stayed out and played until dark. And somehow survived. We need to get back to good old American traditions and Apple Pie and cut out all the P.C.
Sure people got hurt. But it was because they did not have common sense.
I HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GREAT 4TH OF JULY
I DID. ....

Two cannons would be neat. They could do synchronized cannon shots. Possibly a demonstration sport for the next summer Olympics.
