If momma ain't happy you don't even get pretend lemon meringue pie. You may be lucky to get any kind of pie at all.

Sort of like the Pie Nazi! No pie for you!

Whoever cooked those for you was not much of a cook. Had to tie the poor beasties up. Wonder if he blindfolded them as well?

I cook a sweet potato pie every year for Ground Hog Day February 2nd. But that is the only pie I make. It's in honor of my Mother for some unknown reason Ground Hog Day was her favorite holiday. It's like the best Punkin pie you ever had. But its made with sweet potatoes. I personally am a good cook, but only when I am in the mood to cook. I don't want to do it on a regular basis.

Sweet potato pie gets a big .

I'm stuck in central western lower northern Michigan. Michiganders get pretty regional sometimes. We keep finding one more thing we want to see.

We are close to Mancelona. Depending on which way the November elections go, they may have to change it to Personcelona.

Smile

We are leaving soon with the Motor Home for Northern California to do some fishing on the Feather River. Then we will be going down ( without the Motor Home. ) to our home in the Desert, still Hot but starting to have some cooler weather now .
I just bought a second Jeep Wrangler to leave at our home in the
Desert. This one is more off road then street so I can explore extremely areas of the Desert. I have been reading about areas and checking out maps and can't wait to get back and start exploring these areas .
In the mean time I will enjoy my apricot pie and ice cream as I check out my maps.

We're going to keep heading north until we hit freezing. Then we'll let it chase us home.
