Thank goodness either of you did not say "I'll have mine with cheese". What a waste of apple pie and cheese!!! LOL

Now I was a bit skeptical about cinnamon ice cream but being adventurous that day decided "What the hey?" and gave it a go. Way better than I thought.

Rhubarb Pie for me or apple if rhubarb is not available and since I make them, I will make both.

I make an awesome Concord grape pie. Ice cream mandatory with it. But never with my apple pie. All my pies are served cold or room temp. NEVER rewarmed :-)

Butter tarts for a snack tonight. I did some QA this afternoon. First was good but did not meet the random sampling quota. So I sampled a couple more.

Ok, for the record, and having it on record is important since I'll go down in history as the one that kilt this thread!

Apple Pie fresh out of oven.
Cinnamon on top of peach or Apple cobbler.
Ice cream, Vanilla, in a bowl on the side! Preferably homemade!

Just typing this I've gained 5lbs.

This thread will not be killed. It could however choke on all of the pie and ice cream.

Thanks for that confirmation Birdman!

My oldest son is currently recruiting for a possible expansion into Hartford. Being a southern boy all his life he passed up any offer thus far to move there. But a visit or two may be in his future.

Well, I'm not sure I'd want to encourage that as he probably hasn't been taxed like he will be if he ever does decide. But if he's visiting, let me know, I'd like to meet him.

Ahh but Carl, the whole crux of the matter is does he want to meet you? Especially if Tim has been telling him stuffs.
