My apologies go out to Huntski.
We did haul the cold and snow down here (Forrest City) with us.
We drove into MO on Thur. before it quit snowing and then woke up here with a inch of snow on the ground. Since then the temps in the teens every day.
But things are looking up Huntski, we are leaving tomorrow and temps are going up to 50.
Aren't ya glad some people leave?

Beep the horn as you go through St. Louis, and I'll wave back. We are settled in waiting for the spring thaw to get out camping.

Poetic Monday

Beariku… Complete freeform nonsense brought on by cabin fever:

Georgia Snow

It snowed here Friday night.
It was all pretty and white.
It’s been three days now if I’m counting right…
Why is the ground still so bright?

Or,

S’no Excuse

If I go out splitting wood
(and I know I should)
And my wedge goes flying and hits the ground
How will I find it with all this snow still around?

Or,

Wisdom

In my younger days a frolic in the snow was a fun way to pass the day
And I could count on a son or daughter for my snowball play.
Alas, their all grown with children of their own.
Now if I walk with my wife and the urge comes to test my snowball skill
For the sake of connubial bliss I had better choose a tree for the kill.

Snow on Friday,
Freezing through Sunday
Gone by Monday
60's Tuesday
70's Wednesday Thursday
Freezing precipitation Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

I name this poem "Four seasons in a week!"
