Lynne is now retired. Now that she is retired the last NNDG is now qualified to take it easy and let the thread pass to a better place.

Hello Thread Killers,
Retired and ready to save this thread! Just think, I can visit each day, make a post of either brilliant info, or something totally ridiculous, or just mundane.

Not so fast, Gordo my friend. I shall carry the torch of the NNDG faithfully in her honor!

Hello Thread Killers,
Day one of retirement and saving the thread! Ah Charlene, I believe a challenge has been laid down! Ready for some doozies my friend?
-8* this AM here in freezing cold MI. Heading toward and even colder night tonight and the next then forecasted for (wait for it), (wait for it), you heard it correctly, 34* on Sunday. Oh the fickleness of Nature and her sense of humor. Freeze the living s*** out of people and then pop a warm one on them. Really! Couldn't we just go to the warm one and forget the pis** cold ones? Really?
Have a sweet day, stay warm, and hug someone you love! Hugging those we do not can be painful!

Congratulations on the retirement and condolences on the pending death of this thread!
Now before it's gone let me ask you a serious question. My wife and I will be coming up to the Mackinaw area in September and need some ideas on the things we Must see. Our only experience in Mi was the Ford Museum in Ann Arbor and passing through Detroit going into Canada. Would like to spend some time heading up to the tip checking out lower Mi. Any suggestions?

Actually , that's the correct spelling!

G'morning, Thread Killers!
Everyone got their Christmas decor down?
Last year, I think mine came down in, um..... June. We don't rush these things.
Salute to the dead thread!
Charlene
