I'm stuck in the beautiful North Georgia mountains...
We had planned a trip to Florida to visit my son, but it seems that there are [B]NO[B] RV spaces available until April. It seems that there is an infestation of snowbirds and there is no room in Florida until the migration begins.

As for hibernation... I go in and out of hibernation often. Staying up for the eclipse tonight though. I've got my double dark sunglasses all polished and new flashbulbs for my camera. 😎

Below freezing here so I have a nice spot all picked out looking from my dinning room window.

I just stepped out on the porch (currently 24 degrees and breezy) and the moon is bright and beautiful. It's about two hours until the eclipse. I feel a short hibernation coming on...
This is the kind of weather that will freeze the balls off of your sweetgum trees...

Saw part of the eclipse. Just enough overcast to give us peeks as it progressed.

We were able to see it clearly. Amazing how it progressed. Must say there was disappointment at first but as it got closer to full eclipse the red hue appeared. Spectacular! We abandoned the inside window view and hit the driveway. Only cameras I have these days are trail cams or phone, neither did the siteing justice.

I think I understand now.
Some threads can't be killed.
They keep rising from the grave like zombies.
This one has survived since 2011.
