My S&B sets under a large canopy of hardwoods, maple, gum, dogwoods and assortment of other colorful trees.

They are beautiful one day, then turn to hours of yard work the next day.

I get the most enjoyment with tree color now a days setting in my deer stand.

We had most of the large trees close to the house cut down. Really helped with the leaf situation and supplied firewood for about 3 years...

If you sit in your deer "stand" wouldn't it be called a deer sit?

All of those trees were the reason we bought a bagger with the mower. Once in the fall and one more time in the spring and the leaves are gone! Starting to get a very large compost pile.

Me? I have one thing I use every year. Wind! By Spring they're 90% blown far away, and what's left is chewed up by my mower, done.
One useful thing for the open plains winds.
