Just for all you Lobster lovers, the colder the water the better the lobster. The best lobster you will get in the US and Canada, is along the coast of maine, and Nova Scotia. Just mke sure you stay on coasal roads, (sometimes hard to do in the MH so tke the toad) and stop at little roadside resturants that just caught the stuff.
You will never eat lobster in Florida again.

It was the worst birthday dinner I ever had. I'm sure they're not all that bad though.

Man! Waffle House, somebody had to mention that. Now i have travel fever, i've been to the keys about 40-50 times, (key west) and i know we have stopped at Waffle House at least 2 ntimes every time we go. I can taste that steak and eggs now.
Waffle house is on my list of places to eat at back east when I go this fall, there's none west of the Mississippi and I've been wanting to try one for a long time .

Saving your bacon grease to cook steak in is like saving your bath water to cook your spaghetti noodles. To each their own though. My sil used to save her bacon grease for cooking and when I was renovating their kitchen I found a jar of it in her cupboard that she had forgot about. Ever smelled rotten bacon grease. Took a year to grow my toenails back!

Hey, the Koreans bury eggs for a year, then eat them.

I had Crisco go bad in the cupboard. I now keep it in the fridge.

Do they cook them in bacon grease?

I only keep it for cooking for a week in the fridge, after that it's heated up and poured off into the crisco tin I keep under the sink for waste grease. Once that's full, it goes in the garbage.
