Yup. The cases, cylinders, and head were pained silver.
The valve cover and alternator, gearbox, clutch, and sprocket covers were polished and clearcoated. And the ignition and center clutch cover are chrome.

I've cost and time reduced painting the tank and side covers, but she still looks great.

My wife of course can't see past the not great orang gas tank, says it looks no different than it did, and it atinks up her house, like my camaro does....
Sometimes i wonder why i keep her....

I thought the case, heads and cylinders were natural aluminum castings. It's been a while.

Nope. They were painted with a silver paint that looked like natural raw alluminum, but didn't corrode or get ugly....
