Working on it. Didn't sleep too good last night. Dog goes ballistic whenever she hears gun shots.

They already setting them off there? I had to drive to Missouri to get ours because they won't start selling them around here until Friday. You get a hefty fine for setting them off before they start selling them.

You can't even light a flashlight in the forests around here.

Sad for those of you who can't have fireworks! We would love to move back to Colorado, plenty of jobs, family all over the state but Fireworks are so restricted its ridiculous! I understand the fire dangers and see why forest lands are off limits but you'd think they would set up places for folks to set em off! I know, too dangerous because some folks don't have the brains to stay safe- well- safe as possible when blowing things up our annual Fireworks blowout is this coming Saturday- cant wait!, looks like we might get to meet a fellow IRV2 member as they may be in the area that day!

Although I must admit that I lit off some on New years eve... we were boondocking. I lit a bundle of bottle rockets off... first time was a success... second time I burn the crap outta my hand! Even with all the alcohol I felt the pain. My bad... live & learn.

2 years ago I invited my new boss and his family, things were going great until I took my eyes off who was lighting the fireworks! ( I always make sure the previous one is off the table) anywho, a 14 y/o didn't clear the excess debris and set off a really nice 35 shot 500 gram aerial.
After the 10th or 12th shot it tipped over, ( OMG) it was shooting straight into the crowd!
Hit my daughter, a neighbor and 2nd degree burn to the bosses wife's calf!

Well still have the job and get ribbed all the time. ( safety guy not very safe at home) still get emails from overseas from the folks that came to that one!
Now, only adults- 1 at a time and I clear the table plus have barriers to deflect possible crowd shots!

All in all it was still hilarious since no major injuries! Bright blue and red flaming balls bouncing off the house, the food tables and the fountain!
