I can't stand the taste and after-taste of any diet drink.
(disclaimer: I haven't tasted all of them)

I used to be the same way. My parents switched to diet and I would stop off and get my own drinks before I went to their house. Now all I drink is diet (sometimes regular Mt. Dew if I can't find it in diet) because it seems that the regulars taste super syrup-y to me... especially the dark colored regular sodas.

Diet drink, mixed with anything, especially Captain , is a good way of ruining a good drink!

Me either. I don't have the heart to ruin a good rum or whiskey. I'd rather not drink it!

That would have been tantamount to a death sentence for my coworkers who share that enclosed, recirculated, climate controlled lab we all work in. . After a narrow brush with death after I hit a conveyor belt sushi place for lunch, I'm not allowed eat gassy foods during work hours. :P

Lunch isn't work hours unless you get a paid lunch.

We don't punch a clock in my profession, just bill hours worked, so lunch is periodically paid as we're at our desks eating while we work. This mornings breakfast was consumed while at my workstation in the lab.
