I use ground turkey instead of ground beef. Ground beef does have more flavor but its just not worth it fat & grease wise. We've found that handmade turkey burgers with part of a dry onion dip packet are very tasty! Turkey loin (comes in 3 different flavors) is also delish.

Have you ever tried ground Buffalo? Expensive, but talk about a meaty flavor. Ummm....

Oh, love Buffalo and Elk, both ground up make exquisite burgers . Best Buffalo burger I've had to date was at the Snake Pit in Enaville, ID.

Very lean meat, so you have to be careful grilling it or it'll char fast!

Safeway has it. Kroger's probably does too. Haven't looked. I think it was 6-$8/lb. It's been a while.

Never tried it, but curious now. We don't have safeways or krogers... or at least I don't think we do.

It's Fry's here. Kroger is the parent company. Try it Kat; you'll like it. Strong meat, but no-gamy flavor.

Vons, Geunardi's are simply rebadged safeways in california.

Fred meyers, Kroger, Ralph's, Fry's, are all the same company as well .

If they're red-heads, they're gonna be hot-heads. Haven't seen one yet that wasn't.
