Heh...

Capitol vs. capital

As a noun, capital refers to (1) a city that serves as a capital of government, (2) wealth in the form of money or property, and (3) a capital letter. As an adjective, it means (1) principal, (2) involving financial assets, and (3) deserving of the death penalty. There are other definitions of capital, but these are the main ones.

Capitol has two very specific definitions (outside Ancient Rome): (1) a U.S. state legislature building, and (2) the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. State capitols are located in the capital cities of U.S. states, and the Capitol is located in the capital city of the U.S.

This is my current pool in Oregon.

Very windy today. Swallowed enough sand to spit out a sand box!

Very nice. And it's a true salt system! Hate to have to vacuum that one out.

Yeah, it would have to "Suck" to have to "Vacuum" that out. Get it? Suck = Vacuum.

HEY, you two aren't the only ones who realize the importance of this thread to all humanity!

There are others of us who equally contribute to the high standards to which this thread has been maintained.

In fact, I picked up a new suit for our next Annual General Meeting!

Newfoundler Diet
A Newfie was terribly overweight, so the doctor put her on a diet.
"I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day, then eat
regularly again for 2 days then skip a day. Repeat this procedure for 2
weeks. The next time I see you, you should have lost at least 5
pounds."
When the Newfie returned, she shocked the doctor by having lost nearly
60 lbs!
"Why, that's amazing", the doctor said, "Did you follow my instructions?"
The Newfie nodded. "I'll tell you though, be jaesuz, I t'aut I were
going to drop dead on dat 'tird day."
"From the hunger, you mean?" asked the doctor.

"No, from the friggin' skippin'."
