Me and wife went to the lake during the weekend on the way back monday morning received a call from Daughter, Dad my water broke you need to get here so hauled butt to Tucson st joes hospital with RV and look what my daughter gave me, 7 Ibs 12.6 ounces 19 and 3/4 inches long. They say that right when we hit the first speedbump in the tunnel under the speedway, someone said "hurry up"! and he gunned the truck and she flat fell off.
She made the cup race with couple staples in her skull, and fed us all some great chili, so I guess all's well that ends well.

Recovery doesn't go as planned, has to be entubated and couple other tubes down his throat and others coming and going multiple other places. Scar twice the size as originally anticipated surgeon. Was supposed to be moved out of Critical Care Unit on Saturday afternoon. Still here. May happen tomorrow. I would like to post a picture of his incision in the hopes of getting one young person to never start and the others that have started to quit. He had 6 weeks of radiation and chemo just to get him to the surgery.

Ok off my soap box now, and no, I do not have a clue about how hard they are to give up as I never started, but I am on the receiving end of the results of 55 years of smoking.

To kill this thread on an optimistic note, he does not plan to be a statistic and will beat this and live twice as long as expected.
