I have fished in Kalamalka lake when I was a kid. Kokanee, tasty little buggers when freshly caught and fried in butter. Wanting to try it again, maybe next spring.

When I was in the Army in Colorado Springs, we went to Twin Lakes on a fishing trip. At the time, we were allowed 3 treble hooks per line. We used salmon eggs and were catching 6-8" Rainbow trout faster than we could fry them up in butter and eat them from an Army mess kit to stay within the 6 fish/person limit. We went through 3 severe thunder storms that formed as they came over the near-by mountain peak. The storms didn't stop the fish from biting as we waited in a car for the storms to pass.

Not broken, just haven't downloaded the pics yet. It's raining so keeping me from finishing the plumbing. Close though, managed to get all but two returns to the site planned for the equipment pad. Hopefully tomorrow. This manual labor is kickin by but! Still have tons of backfilling to do. Plus pressure testing, pouring the pad,etc.. Hope to get it all done before the snow flys.

Just seen on the news this morning BACON SHORTAGE!! Due to drought conditions in the US and Canada there will be shortages on corn. Some pig farmers are going out of business and the rest will pay higher feed costs. We will still be able to get Bacon but it is going to cost us. They just don't seem to know how much this thread depends on Bacon!!!
