Just to see if I could and what I'm missing. I didn't like two flavors of Linux and W8, so I probably wouldn't OS X.

Well, dont like Apple at all, but, wife complained so much I broke down and got a iPad2. She ended up not using it. Bought her this Android tab (ASUS Transformer), and she doesnt use it either. Know what she ended up on ALL DAY long?

Win7.5 phone...

You do not need to believe the Apple/Android hype.

So, send me the tab for shop use. I could use it to look up formulas and parts sources.

Come on Jim. You're not using the iPad. It's rotting away and the battery is going to destroy the insides. It's not doing you any good, were as I could put it to good use on my shop bench, building toys for kids. I even have a place for it. Tell ya what, I'll even pay shipping for it. What is it. one of those old obsolete ipad 2 or 3 that are hard to give away. Tell you wife I will really, really appreciate it and take care of it and I'm on a minuscule disabled fixed pension and it would be the only chance i would have to get one. :2cry: I can even find a place on my falling apart wheelchair or wooden cart for it when I go out begging for soup and bread money... It will brake my heart and Sadie will cry and pout for months if we don't get it. You could write off on your taxas as charity. Pllllleeeeeeeeelllllllllzzzzzzzeeeeeeeee Jim.

Sorry Mike.. the iPad is gone. Sold it as soon as I found her not using it. Did I mention I hate Apple?

The ASUS I use to browse the forums and such. Though the built in browser pretty much sux too. You would think Google would put Chrome in thier OS.. Right? Nooo..

No real need. I have a desktop and 4 laptops. Gave a desktop away last year and still have parts of 3 others in the back bedroom, including my original Tandy 1000A.

Geez the only thing I've got with 8 windows is my bus. All this I pad and I phone stuff is way beyond my technology level. The DW has an Android phone though. You will never find me lined up over night to buy one.

Now there is an iPad Mini!

Personally, I like my iPad. I had a problem with my PC and had to put new operating software on it which ended up being Windows 7. I don't like it and wish I had XP again.
