This picture is what 13" of snow looks like in DFW back in Feb of 2010 in my back yard.....wow, talk about snapped trees and broken power lines.....that was an all time record!

Yep. I believe that was in February of 2008. If you look closely, a yellow lily is blooming against the fence.

Sarah & Cliff have you checked out www.troublefreepool.com fantastic info! Already saved me a fortune in not buying chemicals. Water was crystal clear before I closed my pool today!
Les, do you park at the bottom of the drive and ride a snow machine to the house?

Yeah, I'm familiar with that. Our pool is 16 years old and got new plaster and tile this year. We used the clorox/borax/whatever system for a couple of years, but it's easier to handle commercial skimmer tabs. (Ours is a chlorine pool as opposed to salt water.) It looked like this in May...

And here's the new plaster with my tile turtles installed...
We never "close" our pool; it stays open all year. Of course, it has water in it now.

My pool is trouble free. I can highly recommend my pool guy if you need one.
