I can't stand it...has it really been so long since this thread was "on topic" that you Notundeads don't even realize when somebody actually posts that way?

Here's the O.P.'s original Post...

I obviously love this forum and maybe I say some things that rattle some cages; but, I don't mean to kill the thread. Sometimes it seems like I do. I do it just to add another viewpoint and ; I guess just to participate, not to kill the discussion.
Should I apologize to the starter after I (unintentionally) kill his thread?
Which question brought not one, but two attempts by some poor noob to respond yesterday:

If that were the case, poor old Rudolf wouldn't be the most famous reindeer of all.

Well, this sure is a fun trip. Two China bombs on my 20' enclosed, self destructed... at the same time... just inside Yuma. I got them replaced(Dunner won't trailer without two spares), especially on a holiday. I finally got to the dunes just before O-Dark Thirty and had to wait till Wed morning to set up my solar arrays. Out of six, I get ~4.900563 amps. That's not counting my solar powered calculators.

Nice weather, about 60 and a light wind.

It really takes the fun out of a trip when you have to change tires along the road. I hope I didn't jinx myself with saying that.

I was near enough to exit 3 and thumpped into an Arby's. None of that dodge-the-truck for me routine when one was a roadside flat. Just by chance, I bought another 25' of air hose last week. Turned out I did right. It just reached. Used my air/hydraulic jack and 1/2 impact tool. And... of course one of those steel braids did find my hand.
