Strange but true time. I just turned on the TV in time to see the tail end of a myths type show showing the AA battery thing and what happens when you cit open the aforementioned lantern battery. One had nothing to do with the other; at least up here in Canader eh?

While you will find cells in a 6 volt battery they're a custom size, and not a AA :P.
Hate to disagree but I do it every year right before Christmas and I find one of two things- either the battery inside is a packaged cell or it's full of nondescript AA batteries stacked neatly on top of each other. Same diameter and length. NO videos just what I experience every year for the last 15 years.

If they're Energizer, they'll "run" (leak).

Please remember our deal, you let me know the name before you release it here and I'll buy stock just before it skyrockets. You know there are cheapskate on here that will buy every battery of that make model out there on IRV2. Bwahahahaha

I was in Walmart the other day and picked up 1 box of salt and 1 battery. I got to the checkout and got charged for A salt and Battery! I do realize that is bad and it just may kill this thread!!
