Well there ya go! We all have got some strange creatures close by, not counting Wal martians. Dunner has creepy crawly things in his area! At least ours don't bite, not yet anyway.

What are you talking about Slickest1?

I caught this bad boy 5' from my deck last night.
I'm pretty sure it bites!
I can now add "Rattlesnake Wrangler" to my resume.

I stand corrected! We might have to rethink the impromptu pool crashing party!

Most people get dogs and cats for pets.

The pool crashing is still on. I motioned Dunner second that you be the first to run across the yard to the pool, carried unanimous. So you just have to give us a time and date to show up at.

Are you insane!!! That thing could have easily killed you there Les! Next time get the shotgun out and just kill it where it lay! Man, I hate snakes. When we were kids growing up in the Mountains of Colorado(yes they are part of the Rockies)
My friend and I were riding our bikes down and old logging trail. The trail looked as if it were moving so my friend slammed on the brakes( pedal backwards- remember) When I slammed on mine the little wire that kept the brake thing attached to the frame broke. So I had no brakes, going to fast to flintstone it and realized as I rode over them that I was on top of about 60 rattlers moving their den.

Had over 30 bites to the tires, 3 wrapped up in the spokes and I "luckily" was thrown over a 15 foot drop onto the rocks. Nice and bloody but no bites.

I stay away from them thar snakes.

You should have been riding a Mongoose bike.

Bought a mongoose bike in 1974, my dad was just here last month and brought me the original receipt. Crazy he had saved it. I bought it with money I made collecting pop bottles, pulling weeds, chopping firewood. Man that thing was cool but twice as heavy as my old huffy.

Crap... I've been found.

Hey, it was good for some free pitcher of green beer when I was in the Army.
