Fireworks happen every Halloween at the beach on the lake below me. This year I'm going down to the beach. They will be doing some into the water fireworks. Never seen that before.

I tried shooting some out of the water once, guess they all were duds!
On the lake here at home we frequent, the boat docks take turns on the holidays. One will shoot one night with another the next night. Competition makes for great light shows. Of course the real light show is the hundreds of boats setting out on the water to watch. With the invent of those magic light rope lights, many boats have really started decorating up.

Last time (the very last time) I went to the beach to watch fireworks, there were at least 200 kids (loose term) with a 5 pack of Roman Candles. You know where it went form there....all out WAR. No beach and fireworks for me.

Hey Les, leave the fire works to the professionals. Just kidding. Poor folks, I hope nobody was hurt!

Not yet!
So came out of my office this afternoon. Annie was watching the Pioneer Woman's cooking show. Macaroni and cheese with 6 slices of bacon added to it. Is there anything that isn't better with bacon?

I have had pit pig several times. Does it get any more tender and tasty? The only thing close was when I did a side of baby back ribs and threw the spice rack in the crock pot and let the ribs simmer overnight. Kept all the juices for the next time... cause I really don't remember what all or how much I put in there.
