Don't think Taco Bell sells fish tacos and I'm not going to a restaurant just to prove my tasted bud still don't work. How old am I? How long have I gone without a fish taco? Not very high on my bucket list.

My mistake. When you said you had not tried a fish taco I thought you were interested. But I would skip Taco Bell altogether - and especially if they were selling fish.

Their old logo the Chihuahua would be a wiser choice - but still taste like quail and be just as bony. That's my story and I'm sticking with it!

I happen to like Taco Bell hard tacos. Tried other item, but did not like them.

Mike - when we get to your neck of the desert - we will make you some tacos. I have a little difficulty getting the corn tortilla perfectly formed and fried - but they are still pretty darn good. Might break through to those taste buds! .

Seems like if something is "Wet" I can taste it or tolerate it with a liquid. I just don't make enough saliva to enjoy eating.

My dad made a form for making taco shells. That was some 55+ years ago. I haven't tried them, but I like the El Paso idea of the stand up shells. I like them crisp.

The thing about a form is you have too use more oil. I fry em crisp and they don't break in the middle like the Taco Bell shells do. They crunch and I always make a flat tostada to eat the over - so ya have a couple tacos and a tostada at the end. Spread some guacamole or beans on it too. You'll see. We will get there.

Eventually. Hope to winter nearby next year. That's as close as I can get. If they drop an early retirement on me - maybe sooner. But you are on the list.

I didn't tell ya this - but my friend that lives there - his little dog got done in by a bobcat in his backyard about a month ago. The dog had been out for a short while and best they can figure the cat jumped up a tree on the other side of his brick wall. Jumped the dog and up the wall and gone. Very sad.

Never wanted to eat a fish taco so I never have. Something just wrong about the idea. I love fish and I like tacos just not fish IN a taco.

My feeling exactly. Just doesn't seem right. Give me the beef any time. I'm sure fish is cheaper to use, but there are so many things that can go wrong with it and make you sick.

My Mother made the best tacos. Crisp shells, GB, hot sauce, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and sometimes refried beans. I could eat about 5-6 of them, then eat the dribblings.

...........whew, that was a long thread. I just spent the better part of my desk chairs life reading this drivel. Thank God this is over. This is the most useless, time wasting, brain sucking, mind numbing thread. I will never get back all those wasted months trying to keep from gouging my eyes out. My wife had to learn how to cook so as not to starve. I lost 80 lbs. Now that this is over I can buy cloths that don't fall off my now skinny butt. Well, I took the bullet for the rest of you. So, nothing more to see here folks. You all go home and spend time with the family.

Hey, Can I get a moderator in here to turn out the lights?
