My apology to everyone. I think I killed or at least lost the thread. I noticed it loose on my shirt and gave it a pull. I set on the table to save and I believe it was inadvertently tossed out. I am so sorrrrrrrry.

Thanks Sarah, if it ain't got an egg shaped ball or a frozen black disc involved then I don't watch it. And after the big fight between the millionaires and the billionaires I seldom watch the black disc events unless they are Junior Hockey.

I may watch the Olympic Luge just to watch a friends niece and she competes for you guys

This is a truly great commercial.

I've heard of Breaking Bad, never watched though. It does not sound like something I would like anyway. I don't even think the news is worth watching these days.

After retiring, I have cut out as much of the stress as I can, and find that shows from across the pond are more to my taste. Netflix is loaded; Doc Martin, Inspector Morse, Endeavour, Inspector Lewis, Foyles War, etc.

IMO American TV has very little worthwhile programming at all.

I like shows like CSI, Bones, Criminal Minds, etc. Rarely watch a movie.

You don't want to know how much I've spent on DVD/Blu-Ray season sets. I got all of Star Trek TNG when DVD first became popular. I think today that would buy you 60 or 70 sets not 7...

CSI which one original? NY? Miami?

There is BBC America, lots of good programming. ITV, Ch4. You know in the UK with FreeSat you can get something like 100 channels for free? And we're not talking Galaxy music channels.

You want fun, try having kids who play goal. Soccer not so bad, don't ask what the equipment costs for hockey. Of course they want the good stuff. The air brush cost more then the helmet. imho the cutest are Tim Bit aged. Half the ice and always a pack plus 3 or 4 kids who can actually play. Aren't 5/6 year olds cute? Especially the scissor style skating about a quarter of them have. Watching them at intermission during NHL games is fun Too bad the tickets cost a fortune.

Not my kid...
