It is not allowed in all states now in a CMV. DOT will most definitely slap your hands and put you in a mandatory time out plus relieve you of said device. And texting is an auto $2500.00 fine + 3 points. Not fun watching others go by with their mobile communicator in hand as they cross into your lane.

We passed a slow-moving Toyota on the interstate yesterday (in our Jeep, not the RV). Traffic zooming around the Toyota on the right and left lanes. When we passed "her", she was busy on the phone, oblivious to going 45-50 in a 65 zone (and everyone else going at least 70.)

Was "her" finger in the other ear so the directions "she" was recieving from the "Mothership" were not overheard by others? Some days I just can't wait to get the MH in the left lane with my right blinker on.

Lost track. Keeping count cut into beer and bacon time. But I'm sure there are a few others I am working on.

So were they long neck or cans?

And I still see a bird dog in the window!

No, they were threads, and that's Oscar, my buddy. Couldn't have a better friend.

The story on the picture was that we kept the shades closed to keep the dogs quiet when we were out, and one time we came back and Oscar had found out how to raise the shade, and park himself on the dash. He has us trained on this one and now we keep the shades open and put a blanket on the dash so that he has a comfortable vantage point.
