I can't help but wonder if there is an alternative universes where this thread is already dead - But the news has yet to reach us? Did the sun actually burn out yesterday and we don't know it yet? Is bacon really as good for you as it smells and taste? These are things I ponder from time to time.

Why does there have to be only a single alternative universe? Could be an infinite number where all variations of situations are playing out. In that case you can select the one that fits your needs. You want bacon growing on trees like leaves? It's out there ... somewhere.

So you've pondered this many times as well. Actually I wasn't limiting my ponder to a single alternative universe - I just figured there was probably not an infinite number of alternates in which this thread could be found. Perhaps 4 - the thread is thriving - the thread is dead - the thread is sustaining - and as it is here and now.... the thread is on life support...

Reminds me of my hospital visit in January. Just as I was about to fall asleep - time for your breathing treatment....

I'm having a hard time getting my hands around this dilemma. Obviously this thread is languishing due to lack of interest, but what could be more interesting than Bacon?
