Exactly ... I don't need a smart phone. I just ask my wife, she knows everything.

Timex was always my watch of choice back when I actually cared about time of day.

Just a watch that works was all I wanted. For those that feel a need to impress everyone including themselves, a Rolex fits.

I have a very expensive Movado watch that sits in my drawer collecting dust while I wear my $50 Timex Expedition because it can get wet down to 100 meters of water and has a push button night light.

Been wearing the same style Timex for 20 years. New one about every 4 years cause they look pretty beat up by then. New leather watch strap about every 2 years.

I don't know what he paid but I paid $5.00 for mine on the street in China Town section of Manhattan. After having "salesmen" coming up to me on every corner I finally told one I would give him $5.00 for one. His response was "I can't sell you a Rolex for $5.00" I responded " you and I both know you don't have a Rolex in your pocket"

My buddy was out raged that mine looked identical, at least till the gold started rubbing off!

I personally have nothing against jewelries of any kind - including men's watches. Just an expression of individual taste. All dollars are relative and how people spend them is as varied as our attempts to kill this thread. 😆

Dead is as dead does Dennis. Sorry about not calling but the Ferries put us on the lower mainland way too late to call you. Will try on the return trip as we're leaving here tomorrow morning bound for Okotoks AB. See our granddaughter and her guy for a day or so then head to a mini-c.
