Thought this thread was dead and I looked and it was all about fence stretching instead.
Seems like I can't keep up.
(By the way, I use my Jeep and ratchet straps to stretch my fence.)

Well... I love my little yellow Jeep but I'm also a big fan of reliability and good gas milage.
Jeep: 139,000 miles
Yaris: 40,000 miles
Jeep: 19 mpg (on a good day)
Yaris: 36+ mpg (on any day)
Jeep: Headlights sometimes
Yaris: Headlights on demand
Jeep: Weighs 4450 lbs
Yaris: Weighs 2350 lbs
Jeep tires: $$$$
Yaris tires: $$
I'm sure you get the picture.

My Grande Cherokee gets about 999 miles to the teacup full when hooked behind the MH. It is way more fun to 4 X 4 when visiting mutating rainbow locations.

Well I like to keep my fleet in tip top shape. A team of mechanics comb over my Jeep each time it's in the garage, they also surprise me with a different color on occasion. Yep when those mountain trails get to calling me out west I just dial them up and tell them I'm coming and they'll even deliver it to the campsite. Was going to purchase a Jeep but we like the comfort of our Tahoe so it's Jeep Rental for me!

Huntski (I've been lost days now)
LarryTheBear (drives a jeep)
We all keep coming back, why do you think?
Cause we like to communicate and see if this thread is dead yet. Answer, NO.
Looked at a 2003 Coachman Mirada 330DS today. This may be the one. Going back with DH tomorrow to drive and put the slides out. Basement storage is kind of small, don't understand why, but it looks like enough and I like the rest. It also started right up in this cold weather here in MI on the first try.
We'll see tomorrow, Lynne

Lynne I had to look up the Mirada, nice looking coach, hope it works out. A trip to AR would be a good breaking run! Plus in April it's really nice here!

I believe it is like ours and a gasser. With the motor up front and the huge drive shaft needed to get power to the back wheels it needs a tunnel. Limits the storage to outboard side of the frame. Nice looking unites aren't they?

Possum,
Yes, a gaser. I like the inside. Even with the slides in it is roomy and you can reach the fridge and stove for meals while pulled over or at Walmart and rest areas. I like it, it felt right, comfortable. Just need to get DH to go look and I will drive it and see how it handles and then probably put down a deposit and pick it up in a week.
Storage would be in the other direction (toward work) half ways between work and home. I could check on it each night on the way home. If this goes through, I will be biting at the bit to go out camping first chance we get. Would have a lot of things to purchase first though.
We'll see tomorrow. Have a great night, Lynne

Lynne,
I took a look at the Mirada and it really has a nice floorplan. I hope it goes well for you and husband tomorrow on test drive.
