According to those fish pictures Steve should let Annie on here. She is a heck of a fish killer, so maybe the thread wouldn't stand a chance with her.

Mary Ann had the big one - 19 lbs I believe. It was almost as big as she is...

Terror on Monday Night - A Thread Killing Novella

It was a warm and cloudy night in North Georgia, the kind of night that makes me restless… DW was practicing her dulcimer. I detached myself from my recliner and walked out on the front porch. There is a sound down in the woods… deer, possum… could ever be a bear. The bears are out there but I’ve never seen one around the house. I guess they know that this is my territory.
I walked around to the side of the house and glanced toward the Motor Home. Something was not right. Were my eyes playing tricks on me? It’s gone! Panic, confusion!... Oh, ok, never mind. I took it in for service.

Well, it's supposed to be out there in these mountains, but I wouldn't know it if I tripped over it. Somebody told me it was good to dig up and chew the roots, but I can't remember who or why....

I have my droughts about how real that reality show is. Two sides, each with camera crew following them, their shoting at each other. Real, don't think so, scripted drama but comes on at a time that nothing worth watching comes on.

Could be wrong, don't know any Ga. boys, they may be like that! Lol

I'm mostly ignorant on current TV. Most of what I watch is re-runs... the really old ones.
As far as Georgia boys... there are all brands. Some premium, some dollar store, and all types in between. I've found the same ones from Maine to California. Mostly good people.
Now my daddy told me to watch out for them AR... or was it AK, or maybe AZ, or it could have been AL. Anyway, he told me to watch out.

Smart man there, you daddy! The show we're referring too is "Appalachian Outlaws" it's on either The Discovery channel or The History channel and it's about mountain men diggin ginseng in the woods. Some hijack he digging of others and there is always a lot of tension and drama.

It's about as accurate as the comic Strip Dogpatch was depicting the Arkies in the Ozark hills! Lol
