In my younger days I can remember laying in bed after a night out including adult beverages," How can I sleep when the bed is turning" It usually ended badly!!

Another stick-in-your-head song that didn't work.

Nobody told you that if you stick one foot out and on the floor, the bed would stop spinning? Worked for me back in High School. Guess you were just Slick, or just thought you were in your younger days.

Years ago, on a Dodge Ram message board, if you even went off topic to say Happy Memorial Day to the troops, you got hit with a short vacation. That admin quit because of all the hate email he got.

I'm moderator at a couple boards, and sometimes I want to take a short vacation and leave the asylum to the inmates, but most of the time it's cool. Interesting to see some of our resident ombudsmen get into their battle gear... and usually over nothing.

Worked (works?) for me... Same as when your too hot with the covers, but too cold without - stick a leg out.

You're not so Slick, then you have one cold leg, and one hot leg.

With enough practice, the room doesn't spin anymore when adult beverages are consumed in excess.

When I was a child I learned not to stick my leg out when on the merry go round. Pain and suffering, lesson learned and remembered. As years went by I did get better at the adult beverage thing but still wasn't as slick as I thought. Now I am older and really smart!!

The way I was feeling yesterday, I must be the "Green" one. Although I must admit, that was a good toss of the roll.
