Phew! Glad you clarified "Grandaughter". I was starting to worry when I first started reading.

Congrats Lynne on the new wheels!

Several years ago Mary came home with a couple tickets to a ballet. Sizing up the fight I decided to just do the smart thing and take her. Getting there and seated early I'm spending my time soaking up all the surroundings. Quite looking around, set up, act right she would tell me, it's not like your going to know anyone here!

Words hadn't barely left her mouth till a old hunting buddy called out from a few rows up "Hey Tim". Mary spent most of that evening slipped down in her seat. Yep, I sure hunt with some classy people!

A pause in Thread Killin’ for a Ballet Review

I know ya’ll been waiting for this… Most of the whole ballet show I didn’t understand, but there was this one part where this girl lost a shoe right at curfew and a prince of a fellow found it (played by Johnny Dillon, Matt would be proud…. I think) and he tried real hard to get the shoe to her but she was too fast. Well, he was determined and the next day he went lookin’ til he found the girl the shoe fit and he was so happy that they balleyed real close and twirled.

And my granddaughter balleyed on point for the first time. She didn’t fall over at all. She stood up real tall and even though her smile looked a little like a grimace I thought she was beautiful.

And one more thing before I go… Daughter and son-in-law announced that we’re going to have another grandbaby… This will be number 18 if my calculations are correct. Don’t they know what causes that???

Resume Thread Killin’

No... that's three sons and three daughters... or wait... could be three daughters and three sons. Either way it comes out about the same.
