The gist of hitch hikers was harder to gather in than Catch 22 was at the best of times. Loved both books.

When my Mom wanted to make her point, the neighbors 10 blocks away were able to listen to her.....

We got good at the "firemans roll". You know if you catch on fire you are to drop & roll --- well if Mon swatted at you and missed you better drop & roll & roll & roll. Because she was coming after you !!!

With us if Mom was upset you had to deal with Dad and he did NOT like it when Mom was upset. Whoever was at fault paid.
