I think the test flight is on hold till we figure how to get him into the cannon. Don't want him walking on the hood and using a ladder would be unsafe because of the angle.

Hols that thought for a moment - perhaps it will be best to use the ladder. It will better if he falls off of the ladder than he actually gets shot from the cannon and misses the net!

I think Mr. Giancarlo should use a test dummy for that first shot. I would volunteer but I'm busy that day or night (whichever the case might be.)
Mr. Huntski... how about you??

I would think we need a Navel Veteran.... I bet they get shot out of cannons all the time.... Let's see if there is a NNDG'er that wants to rake the first flight....

Wow. No one has delivered a decent flesh wound yet.
Aren't the flat sun dried ones jerky?

The test shot is on hold only until I complete my training. It takes a lot of training to get in shape so you can do the flips in to the net. Working on the trampoline. Doing yoga, getting flexible and in shape. And I took some time off to take a vacstion.
I hope to have my first shot in mid 2017..

I notice the caliber of the cannon appears to be a 42" (102 cm) diameter. I suppose you have to achieve the required rotundness to fit the barrel snuggly in order that you get full propulsion from the charge. Too much "blow by" and you will fall short of the net.

P.S. - I would save the flips and other special maneuvers for the second shot. Just getting to the net safely on the first shot should be the goal!

Way to jump on that 13800 number. I forgot what the prize is, but I'm sure Tim will remind us.
