Wow...your sister is a Duck ? I think I heard her swim by last night.
You have to keep your Ducks in a row if you want to smoke your pig . I usually cover my pig in Duck feathers before I wrap it in banna leaves and burlap before I bury it in the hole with hot coals.

Got to go now and train for the great cannon shoot. I need training so I don't have a major Quack Up.

That's what I forgot, the hot coals. 😳 I have dug that pig up 3 times since I buried it in September and it still is not done, but boy does it stink!

How deep did you bury it? You have to bury it below the frost line. Then you can slow cook for 8 months.
