There is a massive Haboob and flood advisory in my area. So, what come on the TV? This guy that says a Cat5 tornado is also in the area. It was just a commercial. Bout pee'd my pants until I looked up from my keyboard to the TV.

What is a Haboob?

Is that I new body part I don't know about?

As for the tornado, it heard about the Dunes in that area and was probably looking for a place to retire! LOL

Haboob is a wall of dust that can be as high as 5,000 feet. Getting more and more of them. You should have seen them on the national news, if you watch the news. They cloud up an area for about an hour. Some are followed by heavy rain, except where I live. (:

Google Haboob pics and there should be some. Almost scarry to look at.

My 5er rocked and scared Sadie into jumping up on my lap when a earthquake struck northern Mexico several years ago. Knocked a TV of it's shelf. Yeehaw....!

By the pics, you'd think a freight train was coming through town. You ought to see it on time lapsed video. I'd look, but I have to go see my vet.

I heard there was a tornado right in my backyard (menifee) but I don't have TV so I only know cause my parents called... which reminds me... call parents back & let them know that we're ok.

We just moved out of central Alberta, and the last month was full off severe thunder and lightning storms. There have been a few small tornadoes touch down and the odd building flattened. We had some 1" hail stones, and some areas seen golf ball size hail. Here in BC it is just hot, for here anyway, 96 (cool for AZ). Threw that in for Dunner. I think we will stay here!

Better hurry. The black helos are close behind and the tin foil hat doesn't work.
