I found when towing the TT that if you wanted to get more speed out of a Ford you just needed a longer downhill to travel along.

Some time in the future I'll regale you with the story of the Diesel Fitter from Newfoundland. I'd post but I think there are people out and about without a sense of humour.

I seem to vaguely remember play with spelling or words about a Diesel Fitter.

A good way to get a Ford going faster is to hook it behind a Dodge! Flame suit on!!

I've seen youtube and vimeo posts of people repowering both GMC and Ford C Class and A Class units with dodge Cummins diesel engines. Both our units are Chev 400 (Below) and 454 (Sometimes Avatar) powered and they will stay that way.

You need a "Binford 2000" engine in it!

I have the Workhorse 8.1 in my SeaBreeze and have the same problem going westbound thru the Banning pass west of Palm Springs. National did build a FRED version of my coach, but I don't think it was ever marketed.
