Just got home. Too tired for all the details. Had a few mishaps with wind. Took out my main awning AND my slide awning.

I'd like to thank whoever told me to take I-84.
Nothing that a couple of G-notes won't fix!

My advise? Stay away from Mountain Home Idaho and Pendleton Oregon. Two of the windiest places I've ever experienced!

PS: You know it's windy when the tumbleweeds pass you on the highway and you are doing 70mph!

Glad you got her home. That wind out West almost took out my slide toppers last year. They unfurled a few times but obeyed me when I yelled " get back in ". More than I can say for my Son when he was growing up.

Neck, you need bacon grease to help that nasty stuff in you track to slide out easier.

Geez, It might have been me. I know we talked about I 84. Sorry you had problems that really sucks. I made clamps for my main awning and they work great. My slide topper started to unfurl in Idaho on the way home too. I stopped and wrapped a bungee around it and the bracket it is mounted on. It isn't pretty but cured the problem. Got to figure out a better clamp for that one. I don't know if there is a way back from Az. with no wind.
