I have been to the island, it is only about 4 hours away. Could drive over on the ice though? Hum!!!
But being it doesn't open until Memorial Day Weekend you'd have to spend almost two years there. Drive over now, wait until opening (ice now gone)hang around til after closing and await the freezup and then drive off again. I'd be sure interested in where you plan to drive on and drive of of Lake Huron.

Of course I was just fooling. Have you ever read how they take the horses back and forth to the island? It's quite a process especially for the new horses.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I got a lot of good exercise!! Not a lot of changes in the coaches, save upgraded tech stuff and seemed to me that the show special prices where about 15-20% higher on basically the same coaches as last year.

The moths in my wallet were safe yesterday!

Well ok, just didn't want new News to get past me. The Discovery has been in shop since January having that booboo fixed, you remember where I was driving so slow a tree grew out in front of me. It will be like bringing home a new one ( to us) by the time we get it back! If I don't get it back soon my barn that I park it in will be full again. Oldest son was over the other day and saw the barn empty and was ready to park his boat inside, he has to rent a place for his boat, to large to keep at his house per HOA. Amazing how when MH gone everything gets parked or layed down in the middle as opposed to the normal storage arrangement !

Ken,

Congrats on keeping the money in YOUR pocket and not theirs and on the exercise and sorry, but the Manta will not kill this thread either.

Have a great day all! Keep the thread alive and going! The Girl

My garage stays free for vehicles.

My basement is beginning to look like a hoarder situation! Too much RV stuff.

We keep buying new stuff, but hang onto the old stuff cause it's too good to throw away yet. Some goes to the Sally Ann. Some gets given away.

I tried to have a garage sale once. But....we live in a Cul d' sac on a steep hill and no one wanted to park at the bottom and walk up.
2 weeks to prepare......and a Saturday wasted for $60 in sales.

I'm going to order a debris bin and clean house.

My neighbor has a unique way of getting rid of things. We place our dump bins in same area so one day I came upon him unloading boxes, furniture and the kind of things you would see at a carport sale. He was pricing a few of the things and I said you having a sale. His reply, no, but when I put Free signs on it it stays, pricing it it goes in about 2-3 nights. They stop, Grab all they can and take off! It works!

I put up a bunch of stuff on a local free cycle site and no takers. Put the same stuff on a 'for sale or trade' site and got rid of most of it a severely reduced prices from what I claimed I wanted for this free stuff. Got rid of 90% and donated the rest. Paid for the daytime running lights my unit requires and don't got.
