Been to many train yards in Ohio. My favorite was in Columbus. Rode behind the 612 and 1218 back in the day. I sat on an overpass camera in hand when the 1218 left town hauling a freight. To say it was an impressive sight would be the worlds biggest understatement. Hoping to catch some steam this winter and spring in New Mexico and Colorado.

I can remember waiting by the tracks when the bicentennial steam engine was making the rounds back in 1976

AKA Cletus; AKA Possum; AKA Dennis:

Please fix your picture. You have succeeded in raising the "ick" factor to a new level and it has not killed the thread.
Besides, my lawyer might get mad if he knew you were using his picture...

Smile Talk to you next year if you can't get the job done and your still all here.

Good by cruel world....in one hour we are heading out for 3+weeks to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holidays on the road. We will be back mid December for a very short stay , then off again to celebrate the Christmas,, and New Years Holidays. I hope you all have a Great Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
If your all still here I will talk at you next year.

Just a tad, any more would have been cost prohibitive.
