In preparation for this eclipse I have been training. Each night I slowly turn the dimmer switch down in our bedroom to the point of totality, wait about a minute and a half and slowly turn it back on. Others, without dimmer switches, tell me they just slowly close their eyelids.

Problem with both methods is you sometimes fall asleep in the totality!

Let me explain it to you...

The earth is stationary and the sun rises in the east. The moon comes over the hill from the west and makes a quick grab for the sun but misses yet again. This happens almost every day.

I think this time it’s going to be different though…

This time the sun, which is slightly bigger than the moon, is going to make a grab for the moon and if it is successful there will be a huge dark spot on the sun…
But don’t look because it’s kind of like their private moment. After a brief embrace they go their separate ways, BFF.

It's a game they play every once in awhile.

That's the way I've got it figured.

The earth better stay stationary! You know it is flat and we'd all fall off if it didn't....

I was told that during the couple minutes of totallaty you can observe the space ships that normall are obscured by the glare of the bright sun.

Nostradamus' predictions revolved heavily on cosmic and planetary changes including eclipse. The upcoming solar eclipse on this Monday apparently had an impact...

Hope this isn't a thread killer.....lol

Are You A Thread Killer

May the moon and the sun align for you... at least for about two hours.....

Just don't validate that with your naked eyes... besides, I heard nakedness could cause blindness of all around you... or at least they would close their eyes and moan in despair...

If you can not leave this thread alone to wither and die, I am going to turn off the sun. No, this is not just an idle threat.

Strange occurance after the eclipse...

We arrived home after the eclipse and things seemed normal.
Then I started getting a little snacky. Soon after a modest snack I started getting nappy. Next thing I knew it was an hour and twenty minutes later and I was just waking up.

Very strange... I can't explain it.
