When I went to the campgrounds section, it asked me to log in again three times. There's no "new post" icon and the "upload" blew up when I tried to use it. It's not the most user-friendly place in the forum. I gave up trying to use it.

I was able to get right in without a log in. Let me send your post to our techies to see if there's some issue for you.

The Campgrounds section does require a log in, but it's supposed to be the same as your Forums log in. A couple things to check: be sure your cookies aren't turned off & also see if your caps lock is on.

I just tried again. I logged in to the Campground section successfully. I use an automatic "fill -in" from my Norton program. Every time I change the selection within the camground forum, I get logged out and asked to log in again. even though I'm still logged in at the main forum.

After doing this four times (when I selected the Washington state section, again when I changed from "most active" to "most recent", again when I clicked on "Upload", again after I'd filled out the first report and clicked to upload it.

At that point, it took me all the way back to the alphabetic listing of states, deleted my draft upload and asked for yet another log-in.

Maybe, Larry, this overly complicated system is why there are so few posts. People just get sick of fighting the dumb thing.

I'm not going to try and use it again anytime soon.

Possibly your detailed information will wake the IP people to look into it.
It could be too that the IP person took the holidays off and that portion crashed.
Anyway I will see you in May.

I'm not familiar with that program, but it's possible that could cause problems. Have you tried the section without the auto fill-in?

I've checked with several members &, currently, no one is having the problems you are. I'm at a loss on how to resolve it for you. If I find out anything new, I'll post. I do appreciate you trying, though.

Lori:

When I use the "auto fill" it does log me in, but then I get blown off again when I change the page I'm looking at.

The only other things you might want to look at are that I'm using IE8 and I'm on Comcast. Sometimes Comcast has a weird way of interfacing with forums.

I can get onto the other sub-forums without getting blown off. I don't understand it either. I'll come back in a few days and try again - had enough frustration for a while! I'll still be visiting the other forums I'm interested in.
