At the moment.........

Just a note to share with all my RV friends.

I am in our Fleetwood Southwind in a National Forest camp ground in lower Alabama. I'm a little tuckered from fishing all afternoon. Its about 55 degrees outside. So dark a night that you can see stars astronomers don't know about. Awwwwwww. Well. I'm turning off the light and going to the bedroom to get my beauty sleep (guess that will be a long night.). Little woman is snoring up a storm so rekon she's sleeping well. Poor little thing is tuckered out from cooking hotdogs and beans (in the micro-wave). Life is good in the Slow Lane. Nite ya'll.

Correction. I was feeding the fish all day. Had stoped to buy some bait and ended up with Canadian Trout Bait Worms. The fish loved them.

This forum needs a "like" button to save time. Sounds like great fun.

I agree about the like button. My hubby is feeding the fish in Kentucky. Life is very good here too. Only difference is the hot dogs and beans. We like steak and baked potato. Oh, and I don't snore.

Open Pond Campground, Conecuh National Forest. $12.00 with W/E, $8.00 for us old folks. (Oops. Mature individuals. I wasn't raised by Dr. Spock so I'm not politicaly correct. No apology intended.) Let me see. There are maybe six old geezers and thier ladies in sixty-five spaces. Needless to say, 'We have elbow room.'

Fairly level parking easy to back into, table, lantern pole, fire ring, view of the lake.

There's even a fella here with a vintage Winnebago Land Yaght. Maybe late 70's or early 80's model. Looks like new.

But. I'm not telling anyone about this place.

Bring your own firewood.
