At The RV Show, did you buy merchandise you had no intent on buying when you went?

We had a great time at the RV super show in Tampa! I must admit, we got hooked on some things we had absolutely no intent on buying when we went but...

Well you know we just had to have it.

Did you see those super stretchy package of lids that seal any container and hold products fresh for days? Yep, bought that and using them also.

How about the colored rubbery stick pads that hold just about anything at angle. You know the ones you put on a dashboard to hold the cell phone in place.
Yep, got those also! I must say they even keep the sunglasses on 45 degree angle right there.

Had to remind the DW we were flying home so pack lightly!

Never intended on buying anything walking in the door....

Do you find yourself doing the same?

Four for $20 ...

... and we bought a faux wicker dip bucket with five different flavors of dip mix, too.

In 2002 we went to the RV show in Atlanta. We had no thoughts of buying anything! We had a 32' Jayco Eagle 5er at the time and was very happy with it. We got over there and started looking at a 36' Cedar Creek and 36' Cardinal, comparing features. This went on for two days!
Long story short, we ended up ordering a new Cedar Creek 5er for delivery six weeks later!

You know, God promises that he won't let us be tempted beyond that which we are able to withstand, but He forgot about RV shows!

I egged on other buyers....

When we were looking at the Demo's and others as well watching. I could tell if there were other potentials on the fence.
So I came right out and said, are you interested.. You... We can go in and do the quantity thing and split the discount. Worked every time!!

We've been to the Tampa RV show one time…and spent $55,000.00 on an Airstream. It's like walking into Walmart for one item…..yeah right!!!

We went because we both agreed we didn't need anything. Six hours and $2,000 later the TOAD was full and we left.

So true. So true. Should have stickers printed up so people can put them on their credit cards as a reminder every time they pull them out.

I got The RVers Friend it is like The Next Exit I can't read it because the print is too small. The wife said it would help her. For $15 I'm not about to debate.

That's not all, but the rest of the stuff was planned to buy. The after market vendors are in the same place every year. I can stock up on things at prices that can't be matched on the East coast of Florida.
