1976 when I got out of NAVY bought a F250 Camper Special with cabover camper

It was my first 'home' as I transitioned back into civilian life.
Went to college, met woman I ended up marrying. Had to buy a house first
We used truck/camper for several years then went to popup, TTs then 5th wheels

Camped as a kid.........station wagons/tents

Now am 65 and looking back guess I have been camping one way or other for dang near 63 yrs....seen pics of me at 2 sitting in the dirt at a camp site eating watermelon

My husband and I have only been married since 2000. We started that year with an old Six Pac camper. One trip in that and we moved up to a great cabover camper. We had no intentions of getting anything bigger till a friend had a beautiful Keystone Challenger fiver that had only been used twice! We snapped it up in 2007 and then traded it in on a new 2016 Montana. My hubby is 75 and I am 68. I think this may be our last RV but you just never can tell!

I picked up a 25 foot class A When I was 38. I was sent to another facility to help turn them around. Unfortunately it was 12 hour shifts and a 3 hour commute each way. So I bought the RV to stay in while down there. I stayed in it almost a year.

I was 28, it was a 15" travel trailer. I towed it with either a 65 Bonneville or 59 TBird.

Age 36. started with small used class C, then larger new class C, new 33 foot Georgie Boy class A gas, and finally Our 40 foot diesel. Have loved and at times hated all of them. Great way to go with the family.

We have saving and planning for years to buy a coach for retirement. My first RV and hopefully my only one is my 2015 Essex. I purchased it last year and I'm 59.

Age 45 when I bought an 02 Four Winds 31Z Class C. One of the best things I have ever done. I now find myself going to a lot of different places that I don't think I would have gone to if I hadn't of purchased it....
