Unhappy Automatic flush toilet

Is anyone having trouble with the new automatic flush toilet on the new 2014 Allegro 36LA? It doesn't have enough power to flush anything. Yes I've added water before flushing. Help...

You did not mention what automatic toilet you have. I personally had the Thetford Aria Deluxe II push button commode. It was large, heavy, and wasted a lot of water. The original owner told me he replaced it twice. In speaking to others, they said it is just a matter of time before it fails and is a very costly replacement. I chose to convert back to a manual model. That way I could do it on my timetable instead of an emergency situation.

Thanks for the info...the toilet is a dometic....even though it is brand new, I think a manual replacement might be the way to go. It is totally useless the way it is right now.

I have a Thetford flush. It will flush anything....except tampons. I'm not familiar w the Dometic model but its sounds like maybe some debris in the macerator...possibly from construction or someone flushing something they shouldn't. Also, use a meter to check the voltage drop at the motor. Perhaps the manufacturer used too small of wires and if there is not enough DC power (batteries dead ect ) The toilet flushes really poorly.

If you are boondocking and the auto flusher uses too much water.......use the evac only mode...not water flush....for yellows. On the Thetford pushing both the small and large flush together for (4) seconds causes the toilet to suck out the contents...yellows...and becomes bone dry. This way if your tailgating ect you can get rid of a lot of used beer without having to waste water and storage flushing.
