Give Beasley MFG, Inc a call Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 / 3:00 EST (Florida) November 1st thru April 30th.
They just made me some custom rugs for outside, and a custom sunshade. This is what they do. 352-793-5055 Center Hill, Fl. Great little company and people to work with.

Here's a company that makes solar screen"awning drops" to your specifications: RV Awning Drops & End Panels - Features

BTW, why do you want a 4 to 6 inch awning drop?
Wondering

Have a 40' DP, passenger side awing does not tilt down enough to attach a 8' by 16' foot sun shade. If you have grommets and S hooks you do not have to climb on a ladder.

.....Thanks for the info

There was a recent thread regarding awning extensions, findable via search. A couple three feet that rolls up with the awning. Then several additional feet of awning that zipper to the section that rolls up with the awning.

Sunpro.com offers a patio awning drop that can me made with a zipper to remove the largest portion and then the remaining smaller portion gets rolled up safely into the awning roller cover.

We've got a Patty O-Shade. Has about a 2ft drop & the lower section zips onto it. We can zip off the bottom & leave the drop rolled up in the awning.

We use the Sunpro shade that Dr4Film mentioned. It comes in various lengths and colors. It also has a piece that stays attached to your awning (slides into groove). This piece comes in different lengths. With your awning extended, you decide on the length (drop) s that you can reach up and zipper the lower portion to it. When done, remove the lower portion and retract the awning. The permanent piece will roll up and not interfere with your awning.
