Awning parts help

No idea how old the awning is, but on the end of the rods that come out parallel from the camper and connect to the roller of the awning to keep it "out" each have a plastic piece that goes into the end of the rod and sit around the roller and have a pin that goes in the end to keep them on. One was broken when we bought the camper and my hubby broke the other this weekend. Any idea what they're called???

Are you talking about these?

RV PARTS OUTLET

Same part but cheaper - http://tweetys.com/slider-catch-aand-e.aspx

They are at the end of the awning arms that lock the support rods (that slide out after the awning is extended) in place. They are grey and act like a tab that you pull down to slide the support rods back. I couldn't find a better picture.

I don't think so. This would be the part that would set on top of that part when the awning is retracted.

OK. Check out those sites tho. They have plenty of Awning parts; especially Tweety's. Their parts listings are broken down between Carefree and A&E.

I guess it's a fork-style awning?!

How do you replace these plastic locks. I have one that the spring is gone and it doesn't allow me to lock the arm in place.
