I can assure you that the response from others about restraining the tube from turning is correct. I had the unfurling problem in certain wind conditions until I installed a restraining device from RV Upgrades. It mounts to the arm easily and when preparing for travelling only requires the use of the existing awning rod to twist the brake tight. this unit has worked great for several years.
