Talking Back home

I JUST got out of the hospital yesterday! So am doing this with my left hand only, so it may take a while. Had rotor cuff surgery, so will be one armed for quite awhile. But I would like to know what trips folks have planned? We have trip set for, from Texas, west to NM, AZ, NV, CA, OR and WA......THEN back down to TEXAS, thur ID, MT,WY,CO,OK to home. Will leave mid MAY, get back mid JULY. I am ready to NOW!!

CSM, U.S. Army, Retired, Combat Vet, and proud of it!! Live a good life....it's not the number of years in your life....it's the LIFE in those years that matters!

Good luck with the rotator cuff surgery. My wife had it done on her left shoulder about 8 weeks ago, and has been doing therapy three times a week for the last three weeks. She is still hurting a little when she gets home, but it will be another two or three months till she knows just how much movement she will get back. Hers was 95% torn in a fall accident, and according to the surgen, only a thin string left.
Our first trip will be in about three weeks, for about 4 days. We will see how it works out and take it from there.
Best of luck to you, and happy camping

Had mine done 5 years ago and it was slow going for awhile, hopefully they told you that about a year after surgery you will be doing something and then you will feel a tear and actually hear it as well then no more pain. It's the scar tissue breaking away- it did hurt for a minute but no more pain!
